What is really the source of conflict? There are three possible sources of conflict: 1. political institutions (the State does not protect) 2. economic institution (no equal access to distribution) 3. social space (cultural expressions) War here in Mindanao is never a religious one. It is because of the unequal distribution of wealth and access to resources. and the State's non-execution of its responsibility to protect its constituents. --------------------------------000OOOOO0000OOOOOOO0000OOOOO------------------------------- “It’s the action, not the fruit of the action that is important. You have to do the right thing. It may not be in your power. May not be in your time, that there’ll be any fruit. But that doesn’t mean you stop doing the right thing. You may never know what results from your action. But if you do nothing, there will be no result.” -----MAHATMA GANDHI | SnapShot of Reality | |
